Custom Closets

Every system resolved before a panel is cut. Floor-to-ceiling joinery built to architectural tolerance, made in Los Angeles.

Custom Closets Los Angeles MONO CLOSETS

A custom closet is not a product you choose from a catalogue. It is a system designed specifically for your space, your wardrobe, and the way you live. Before we draw a single line, we spend time understanding how you use your closet — what you reach for every morning, what you store once a year, what the room needs to feel like at six in the morning.

Every MONO CLOSETS system is built to joinery-grade precision. Panels cut to architectural tolerance. Edges finished to the standard you feel when you run a hand across them. Materials that age well rather than simply looking good at handover. No imported flat-pack. No catalogue dimensions forced onto your space.

01
Floor-to-ceiling
We design to the full height of the room. Every centimetre of vertical space is resolved — open shelving, concealed storage, and everything between.
02
Designed for your wardrobe
Before we draw, we catalogue what you own. Hanging lengths, folded items, shoes, accessories, bags — the system is built around the actual contents, not a generic assumption.
03
Material first
Every finish is selected from our curated library. A physical sample box is delivered to your home before you approve anything — so you feel the material in your own light.
04
Built to last
Joinery-grade millwork fabricated locally. Hardware selected for longevity. A lifetime structural warranty on every installation.

Questions

Common questions

What is the difference between custom and modular?+
A modular system uses fixed-size components assembled to fit. A custom closet is designed from scratch to your specific dimensions, your specific wardrobe, and your specific aesthetic. We build custom — every panel cut to your room.
What materials are available?+
Our library includes natural walnut, lacquered panels in 40+ colours, textured laminates, cane, glass inserts, and a full range of polished and matte hardware. You receive a physical sample of every finish before approving the design.
How long does a custom closet take?+
From first consultation to installation: 6–10 weeks is typical. Design 2–3 weeks, fabrication 3–5 weeks, installation 1–3 days.
Can you work in older Los Angeles homes?+
Yes — many of our best projects are in mid-century and Spanish Colonial homes. We design to the room as it is, not to catalogue dimensions.
